DCCI condoles Masudur Rahman's death

DHAKA, March 5, 2025 (BSS) - Former Senior Vice President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) Masudur Rahman, 68, and President of Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham Bangladesh), breathed his last today in the city.

President of Dhaka Chamber Taskeen Ahmed and members of the board of directors expressed their deepest condolences at his death and extended profound compassion to the bereaved family, said a press release.

He served DCCI as the Senior Vice President in 1991, 1992 and in 1998. He was also the Managing Director of Crane Ltd. and Chairman of Asia Securities Ltd. He has played a great role in strengthening and expanding Canada-Bangladesh bilateral trade and economic relations. 

After Namaz-e-Janaza at Gulshan Azad Mosque, he was buried at the Bannai graveyard.
