DHAKA, Mar 7, 2025 (BSS) – Police have arrested four individuals, including professional robbers, in special drives in different parts of the capital’s Kotwali area.

The arrestees were identified as Md. Shahabuddin, 55, Laiju Begum, 39, Hiron alias Halim, 27 and Md. Ilyas, 28, said a media release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The release said Kotwali police station of DMP rounded up the four involved in various crimes, in the last 24 hours, by conducting special operations in various crime prone areas under its jurisdiction.

The arrestees include drug peddlers, professional active robbers and thieves.

They were produced before the court.
