Tarique Rahman presents Eid gift to uprising martyrs Sajeeb's mother

DHAKA, March 29, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has presented an oxygen concentrator and other items to mother of Dr. Sajeeb, who was martyred in the July Uprising.
 
Dr. Sajeeb, a former student of Tairunnesa Medical College, is the eldest child of the family.
 
He was killed on July 18. His mother Jhorna Begum suffers from chronic respiratory complications (Chronic Type Two Respiratory Failure with COPD) and other diseases.
 
As the eldest child, Sajeeb used to take care of his sick mother himself. Now she needs oxygen every day. She needs an oxygen concentrator. There was an oxygen concentrator, but that too has been destroyed.
 
At the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam along with some specialist doctors went to their house in Narsingdi today.
 
Dr. Rafiq handed over an oxygen concentrator and other gifts to the mother of the deceased Sajeeb. He even promised to be by her side in case of any need later.
 
Cardiologist Dr. Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman Noman, surgery specialist Dr. Ahmed Sami Al Ahsan, gynecological oncologist Dr. Mirza Asaduzzaman Ratan, chest disease specialist Dr. Ashiq Chowdhury Pias and Dr. Manjurul Islam were present on the occasion.
