DHAKA, April 3, 2025 (BSS) – A team of the joint forces seized Taka 30 lakh cash, gold ornaments and local weapons from the house of a local robber in Alikhali area under Hnila Union of Teknaf Sadar Upazila last night.

The team led by the Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) conducted the operation based on a secret information, said a release of the Directorate of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) this afternoon.
 
Searching the house, the forces seized Taka 30 lakh in cash, five locally made firearms, six rounds of bullets, 5 local sharp weapons, gold ornaments, multiple checkbooks and 20 SIM cards from there.

Subsequently, those were handed over to the police station and the cash and gold were submitted to the Teknaf Customs Office.
