Ex councilor arrested in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, April 3, 2025 (BSS) -  Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, former city unit president of Jatiya Sramik League and also former councilor of Chattogram City Corporation, was arrested from the Goasaildanga area in the city.
 
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested him from his residence located in the Goasaildanga area on Wednesday evening as he has been implicated in a case filed with Bandar police station after August 5 on charges of his involvement for attacking students during student-led mass uprising.
