ACC inquiring corruption of personal staffs of two advisers

DHAKA, April 27, 2025(BSS)- Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has taken initiative to inquire into the alleged corruption of former personal staffs of two advisers to the interim government.

ACC Director General (DG) Md Akter Hossain told the journalists at a media briefing at its headquarters today.

The persons to come under ACC inquiry are Moazzem Hossain, APS to the LGRD adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan and Tuhin Farabi, personal officer of health adviser Nur Jahan Begum, both were dismissed from their job recently on corruption allegation.

Replying to a question from a journalist, the ACC DG said, “the issue has come to the notice of the commission and the commission is fully aware of such allegations.”

“Our intelligence unit has been working on it and very soon you will get the progress on the issue,” he said.
