Nationalist Jute Workers' Party holds meeting in capital

DHAKA, May 13, 2025 (BSS) - The first meeting of the central executive committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Jute Workers' Party was held in the capital's Dhanmondi yesterday.

During the meeting, it was decided to submit a memorandum to the Chief Adviser, Jute Adviser, and Environment Adviser on eight-point demands, including the reopening of closed jute mills under state management.

The meeting was chaired by the newly elected president of the Jute Workers' Party, Saeed Al Noman, and conducted by the party's General Secretary, Abul Khayer Khaja.
