Some groups trying to exploit July uprising spirit for their interests: Nur

NARSINGDI, May 16, 2025 (BSS) - Gano Adhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur today alleged that certain vested quarters are attempting to exploit the spirit of the July uprising for their own interests.

He made the remark while addressing a mass rally organized by the Narsingdi district unit of Gano Adhikar Parishad at the Narsingdi Municipal Eidgah this afternoon.

“July is not anyone's personal property, nor is it the result of an individual’s achievement. It is the outcome of the collective struggle of people from all walks of life in this country,” said Nur.

Laying emphasize on ensuring equal rights for all citizens, Nur highlighted the role of various political parties in the anti-autocracy movement against the Awami League regime.

Gano Adhikar Parishad General Secretary Rashed Khan, Senior Vice President Faruk Hasan, Secretary for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs Saddam Hossain, along with local leaders and activists, were also present at the rally.
