DHAKA, Dec 8, 2025 (BSS) – The Election Commission (EC) has registered 81 local election observer organizations for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election and the referendum.

The EC published the list of registered observer organizations today signed by Md. Ruhul Amin Mollik, Director (Public Relations) and Information Officer of the EC Secretariat.

According to the EC’s public relations wing, the registrations were given in two phases.

On November 6, in the first phase, 66 local observer organizations were registered,  from November 6, 2025 to November 5, 2030.

In the second phase, after scrutiny, the EC gave final approval to an additional 15 local observer organizations. These 15 organizations are registered for five years, from December 4, 2025 to December 3, 2030.

All registered organizations will be allowed to observe the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election as well as various local government elections under the Election Observation Guidelines 2025.
