DHAKA, May 17, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed today said the nation wants to know when the reform will be completed and the Election Commission will announce the schedule.

“Only the elected government has the power to take some important decisions within the country. If there is a fair election, the people will make whoever they want their representatives, and they will put whichever party they want in power. BNP has no objection here,” he said.

He said this while addressing the Arafat Rahman Coco Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament inaugural ceremony at Hatirdia Chadat Ali Adarsh High School ground in Monohardi upazila of Narsingdi district.

BNP Joint Secretary General and Narsingdi District BNP President Khairul Kabir Khokon inaugurated the game.

BNP assistant volunteer affairs secretary Abdul Qadir Bhuiyan Jewel chaired the event. District BNP leaders also spoke.
