DHAKA, May 18, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of the police arrested 11 members of the Awami League (AL) from a procession in the capital's Gulishtan area this afternoon.

Deputy Commissioner of DB of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed their arrest, saying the detainees were taken to DB office.

The government had recently banned all the activities of the AL, its front, associate and brotherly organizations.
