Three firearms, 4 shotgun cartridges recovered in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, May 19, 2025 (BSS) - Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered three locally made firearms and four shotgun cartridges during a raid in the Bakalia area of the city last night.

However, no arrests were made in connection with the recovery.

According to RAB, based on a tip-off, a special team of RAB-7 carried out the raid on the west side of Delwar Jahan Memorial School and College, located along Baklia Access Road under Baklia Police Station.

The firearms and cartridges were found abandoned at the scene. RAB has handed over the seized items to Baklia Police Station for further legal procedures.
