DHAKA, May 19, 2025 (BSS)-Administrator of the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mohammad Azaz today instructed the authorities concerned to repair the footpaths of the main roads before upcoming holy Eid –ul-Azha to ensure smooth movement of the pedestrians.
The DNCC Administrator gave this instruction through a circular signed by Superintending Engineer of the DNCC Traffic Engineering Circle Khandakar Mahbub Alam.
He also instructed to repair immediately the most public important roads - Pragati Sarani, Mirpur Road, Satrastha, Airport Road, Manik Miah Avenue, Ring Road, Sat Masjid Road, Mahbub Morshed Sarani, AK Khandkar Sarak and Mohakhali to Gulshan-1.
The Executive Engineers of 10 zones of the DNCC have already started the repair works of different roads of the area following earlier instruction by the administrator and it would be completed before the Eid-ul-Azha.
The DNCC also instructed the officials concerned to submit the pre and post photos of those repaired roads to the authority to ensure transparency and accountability of the works.
