DHAKA, May 19, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will operate its annual 'Eid Special Service' starting from June 3 to ensure a smooth and comfortable journey for homebound passengers during the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha,

Advance ticket sales for the Eid Special Service will begin on May 24 and will continue till June 14, according to a BRTC press release.
 
Tickets will be available at key BRTC depots across Dhaka, including Motijheel, Joar Sahara, Kallyanpur, Gabtoli, Mohammadpur, Mirpur, Jatrabari, Gazipur, and Narayanganj (Chasara), covering numerous inter-district routes originating from Dhaka.

Under the special arrangement, buses from Motijheel depot will run on routes to Rangpur, Bogura, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Gaibandha and Lalmonirhat.

Kallyanpur depot will operate services to Aricha, Paturia, Bhanga, Gopalganj and Barishal. From Gabtoli depot, buses will run to Rangpur, Barishal, Khulna, Gopalganj, Paturia and Bogura. Joarsahara depot will serve routes to Rangpur, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Dinajpur, Naogaon, Barishal, Bogura, Mymensingh, and Tangail.

The Mirpur depot will cover Rangpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Mawa, Paturia, Sirajganj, Bogura, Gopalganj, Bhatiapara and Mymensingh.

Mohammadpur depot will operate services to Rangpur, Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Bogura, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Paturia, Barishal and Gopalganj. From Gazipur depot, buses will travel to Mymensingh, Rangpur, Pabna, Bogura, Khulna, Thakurgaon and Kurigram.

Jatrabari depot will run services to Rangpur, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Kurigram, Bhanga, Faridpur and Barishal. Narayanganj depot will operate buses to Rangpur, Kushtia, Jamalpur, Naogaon, Gopalganj, Madaripur, Rajshahi, Bhanga and Netrokona. Narsingdi depot will cover Swarupkathi, Rangpur, Naogaon, Kishoreganj, Gopalganj and Bogura.

Cumilla depot will operate services to Sylhet and Sunamganj, while Sylhet depot will run buses to Mymensingh, Rangpur, Lakshmipur and Chattogram. Dinajpur depot will provide service on the Dhaka-Dinajpur route.
 
Sonapur depot will operate on the Chattogram route. Bogura depot will serve Jashore, Rangpur and Barishal. Rangpur depot will run services to Panchagarh, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Dhaka. Khulna depot will serve Rangpur, Kishoreganj and Dhaka.

Pabna depot will operate buses to Gazipur, Kushtia and Dhaka. Mymensingh depot will serve Gaibandha (Sundarganj), Thakurgaon, Lalmonirhat, Sherpur, Ghatail, Sylhet and Dhaka.

Chattogram depot will run services to Rangpur, Sylhet, and Bhola. Tungipara depot will operate buses to Dhaka, Chilmari, and Patgati. Barishal depot will provide services to Dhaka, Rangpur, and Kuakata.
