DHAKA, May 20, 2025 (BSS): In the ongoing nationwide operation to uphold the law and order, 1605 more crime suspects were apprehended in the last 24 hours, said a press release of the Police Headquarters.

Of the detainees, 1013 were accused in previous cases and warranted in pending cases while 592 others of various criminal charges. 

Three single barrel guns, one LG, one two barrel gun, three pipe guns, six round cartridges and several sharp weapons were also seized during the overnight operations.
