DHAKA, May 27, 2025 (BSS) - The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in a statement today offered escort services for the safe and secured transportation of large sums of money ahead the Eid-ul-Azha.

"If any individual, bank or financial institution feels that they need police assistance to transfer a large amount of money, we will provide them with escort services," the statement said.

The individual or organization seeking police assistance is advised to contact the respective police station, the police control room or the National Emergency Number 999.

The numbers of the police control room are: 223381188, 0247119988 029619999, 01320-037845 01320-037846.

But the individual or organization seeking police escort service will have to arrange a vehicle, the statement added.
