DHAKA, June 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central executive committee member and ameer of its Dhaka South city unit Md Nurul Islam Bulbul has said only his party has the capability of building a welfare and humane state.

"Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is making its utmost efforts to fulfill the aspirations of the people. The people too, are increasing their support for Jamaat-e-Islami to fulfill their dream of a happy and prosperous Bangladesh. The leaders and activists of our party should stand by the people to keep getting this support," he said.

The Jamaat leader said this while addressing a rally and Eid reunion at Sabujbagh Buddhist Temple Auditorium last night (Thursday).

Presided over by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami South City Unit working committee member Mawlana Faridul Islam, the function was attended by party's Dhaka South city unit secretary Dr Shafiqul Islam Masud, Kabir Ahmed, Mohammad Kamal Hossain, Dr Mobarak Hossain and Ashraful Alam Emon, among others.
