DHAKA, June 21, 2025 (BSS) - A nationwide tree plantation programme continued on 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its affiliated organizations are observing the programme in all over the country in line with the BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman's commitment to protecting environment and building a sustainable green Bangladesh, BNP Media Cell said in a Facebook post.
As part of the ongoing campaign, trees were planted yesterday in various unions of Dhamrai Upazila under the leadership of Dhaka District Swechhasebak Dal Convener Nazmul Hasan Abhi.
A tree plantation program was also organized in the Sadar Union of Sreepur Upazila in Magura district.
Magura District BNP Member Secretary Monowar Hossain Khan attended the event as the chief guest.
