NILPHAMARI, June 21, 2025 (BSS) - A seminar titled 'Shaheed Zia-Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Zia' was held today at the Zila Parishad auditorium.
District BNP Joint Secretary and Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary Kazi Akhtaruzzaman Jewel presided over the seminar with District BNP Vice President Mostafa Haque Prodhan speaking as the chief guest.
District BNP vice presidents Mir Selim Faruk and Mozammel Haque, organizing secretary Md. Anisur Rahman, joint office secretary Abdur Rahim, member Ahmed Ali and joint convener of Sirajganj District Jubo Dal Raihan addressed the seminar as special guests.
The seminar was moderated by Sadar Upazila BNP organizing secretary Azim Hossain.
Kazi Akhtaruzzaman Jewel said, "Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman practiced the politics of nation building. The grassroots leaders and activists should follow them."
He also said that everyone should work together to spread the 31-point plan for state reform announced by Tarique Rahman at the grassroots level.
More than a hundred party leaders and activists of the district participated in the seminar.
