Tarique Rahman gifts house to anti-fascist movement victim Raju's family

BOGURA, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has presented a house to widow Jamela Bewa, mother of BNP activist Raju, who was victimised in the anti-fascist movement in Amjani Majhpara village under Shibganj Upazila in Bogura.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Tarique Rahman's wife, renowned physician Dr. Zubaida Rahman, the house was gifted to Jamela Bewa.

Bogura District BNP Vice President and Shibganj Upazila BNP President Mir Shahe Alam handed over her the key of the house yesterday. 

Upazila BNP leaders and villagers were present on the occasion.

Widow Jamela Bewa was leading an inhuman life in a small hut, according to a Facebook page of the BNP media cell.
