Salman, Anisul shown arrested in three murder cases

GAZIPUR, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - Salman Fazlur Rahman, former private industry affairs adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Anisul Huq, former law minister, Kamrul Islam, former food minister and Chowdhury Abdullah-Al-Mamun, former IGP, were shown arrested in three murder cases today.

The three murder cases were lodged over the murder of six persons, who were killed in Gacha Thana of the district.

The four were produced before Gazipur Metropolitan Magistrate Court-3 at 10:00 am in connection with three murder cases related to the July Uprising.

Later, the four were again sent to Kashimpur Central Jail, said officer-in-charge of Gacha Thana Aminul Islam.
