CHATTOGRAM, June 22, 2025 (BSS) - Authorities at Chattogram Shah Amanat 
International Airport seized a consignment of electric cigarettes and their 
accessories from a passenger arriving from Abu Dhabi.

A total of 20 electric cigarettes, 280 cigarette cartridges, 490 bottles of 
cigarette refill liquid and 30 cigarette coils were recovered from Mohammad 
Ayub Ali, a resident of Satkania upazila, who arrived on US-Bangla Airlines 
flight BS-350 around 07.10 am this morning.

Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, the public relations officer of the airport, said 
that after collecting his luggage from the baggage belt Ayub attempted to 
pass through the green channel without declaring the items. 

The estimated market value of the seized items is around Taka 11 lakh.
