DHAKA, June 23, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today showed former state minister for Liberation War Affairs Tajul Islam and former lawmaker from Kushtia-1 constituency AKM Sarwar Jahan Badsha in separate killing cases. 
 
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbub Alam passed the orders as police produced the accused before the court and pleaded to show them arrested in the cases. 
 
Of the two, Tajul Islam was shown arrested in the case lodged with the city's Paltan Police Station over the killing of Ramjan Miah during the July-August mass uprising, while the court showed AKM Sarwar Jahan Badsha arrested in a murder case filed with the Mohammadpur Police Station. 
 
AKM Sarwar Jahan Badsha was arrested from the Basila area under the Mohammadpur Police Station on June 17 last.
