DHAKA, June 24, 2025 (BSS) - Women and Child Affairs Ministry has invited applications to finalize the names of a maximum of five Bangladeshi women for the Begum Rokeya Award-2025. 

Interested candidates can apply by collecting the prescribed ‘table’ form from the website of the ministry (www.mowca.gov.bd) and the Department of Women’s Affairs (www.dwa.gov.bd), said an official handout.

Applications in any form other than the ‘table’ provided on the website will not be accepted. The field of contribution of the candidate should be clearly mentioned in the application form. The soft copy of the application should be sent by e-mail ([email protected]) – MS Word file in ‘Nikosh’ font and two sets of hard copies should be sent by post to the Senior Secretary, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka by 31st July.

This award is given every year to those who have made significant contributions in the fields of women’s education and rights, women’s socio-economic development, women’s awakening in literature and culture and rural development as well as in any field determined by the government.
