2 fugitive life sentenced accused held in Jatrabari

DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested two fugitive convicts, who were sentenced to life imprisonment in a murder case, from the capital's Jatrabari area on Tuesday.

The arrested have been identified as Md Belayet Hossain (46) and Reshma Begum (37).

A team of Jatrabari Police Station in a raid conducted at North Jatrabari area arrested the duo around 1:45 pm. 

Police said that the detained Belayet and Reshma were accused in a murder case registered with Munshiganj Police Station in 2010. They were sentenced to life imprisonment in the case.
