49 held in special operation in Tejgaon division

DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS) - Police on Tuesday arrested 49 people involved in various crimes by conducting special operations in six police stations of the capital's Tejgaon division aimed at containing crimes.

Of the arrestees, five were arrested by Tejgaon Police Station, five by Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 18 by Mohammadpur Police Station, 16 by Adabor Police Station, three by Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station and two by Hatirjheel Police Station, said a police press release.

The arrested were accused in previous cases and pending warrants.
