LALMONIRHAT, July 2, 2025 (BSS)- As part of month-long nationwide march
advocating for their three core demands-- justice, reform and a new
constitution, the National Citizen Party (NCP) held roadside meetings and
interacted with rural people for their second day visit at various locations
across Kurigram and Lalmonirhat districts in northern region.

Throughout the day, the party's leaders interacted with people from all walks
of life, including farmers, laborers and shopkeepers.

Local residents expressed enthusiasm upon seeing Nahid Islam, convener of the
NCP, and other leaders of the mass uprising in their respective areas.

In the afternoon, shopkeepers at Mostofi Bus Stand in Lalmonirhat eagerly
approached Nahid Islam while he reached there. Later, the NCP leader
exchanged pleasantries with them.

The people, who gathered there, pledged their commitment to supporting
nation-building efforts while Nahid Islam reiterated his vision for a non-
discriminatory state for all.
