DHAKA, July 2, 2025 (BSS) - BNP National Executive Committee member and 
former lawmaker Nasir Uddin Chowdhury is currently receiving medical 
treatment at the Super Specialized BMU Hospital in the capital.

Chowdhury, a veteran freedom fighter and former MP from Sunamganj-2 (Dirai-
Shalla), was admitted to the hospital on June 16 due to multiple health 
complications.

According to journalist Rudra Mizan, former general secretary of Jatiyatabadi 
Chhatra Dal's Dirai Upazila unit, Chowdhury is under the care of Professor Dr 
M Bahadur Ali Miah, a senior neurologist at the facility.

His condition is being closely monitored as he continues treatment at the 
hospital.
