Former MP Naimur Rahman Durjoy on 4-day remand

MANIKGANJ, July 3, 2025(BSS) - A Manikganj Court today placed former MP of 
Manikganj -1 constituency Naimur Rahman Durjoy on a four day remand in two 
separate explosive cases filed with Manikganj Sadar and Daulatpur Police 
Station. 

Manikganj District Police arrested Durjoy on Wednesday night from his 
Lalmatia residence in Dhaka. 

The investigation officer of the case produced him before the court seeking a 
ten-day remand. 

Later, Judge of Manikganj Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court granted 
a four-day remand after hearing the remand petition regarding the case.
