Law Ministry suspends AO Anisur Rahman for misconduct

DHAKA, July 5, 2025(BSS) - The Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry today suspended Mohammad Anisur Rahman, an administrative officer (AO) of the Law and Justice Division, for misconduct and absence from office.

An office order of the ministry, signed by its Joint Secretary (Admin-2) S M Ershadul Alam, said that he has been suspended for 'misconduct' and absence under sub-sections Kha and Ga under section 3 of the Government Officers (discipline and appeal) Rules-2018.

The ministry has already initiated a departmental procedure against him for his alleged involvement in those allegations for the sake of its complete investigation.
