SYLHET, July 5, 2025 (BSS) - A doa mahfil and public rally will be held in Sylhet on Monday seeking sound health and long life of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

It is expected that BNP's senior leaders, including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas, will join the doa mahfil and rally.

Besides, BNP Standing Committee members Dr AZM Zahid Hossain and Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, organizing secretary Shama Obayed, joint secretary Khairul Kabir Khokan and executive committee member Advocate Nipun Roy Chowdhury, among others, will be present as the event.

BNP central assistant organizing secretary Miftah Siddique said BNP chairperson's adviser and BNP United Kingdom unit President MA Malik is organizing the doa mahfil and rally.
