DHAKA, July 7, 2025 (BSS) - Police today arrested an accused of a murder case during the July Uprising from Bhatulia area of Turag in the city. The arrestee is Irfanul Haque Gazi Siam, 20. 

Police raided a rented house of the area and arrested Siam, said Turag Thana officer-in-charge (OC) Md Manirul Islam.

A case was filed against him at Uttara Pashchim Thana, the OC said, adding that he (Siam) was handed over to the concerned police station.

Police today produced him before a court where the court granted one-day remand of Siam.
