DMP mobile court fines a company Tk one lakh for manufacturing harmful cosmetics

DHAKA July 10, 2025 (BSS) -A mobile court of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police 
(DMP) today fined a company Taka one lakh for producing and marketing harmful 
cosmetics in the capital's Dakhinkhan Thana area.

The mobile court led by DMP Executive Magistrate and Senior Assistant 
Secretary Md Al Imran conducted the raid at a company named Mountain Consumer 
Limited under Dakhinkhan Thana area this afternoon.

The company was manufacturing and selling various cosmetic products including 
oils harmful to health under the name 'Organic Hair Oil', said a police press 
release.
