New Committee of 'Uttaranchal Chhatra Forum' announced

DHAKA, Sept 2, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today announced the new committee of the 'Uttaranchal Chhatra Forum'.

The announcement came following a discussion held at the Jatiya Press Club auditorium in the capital marking the 18th 'Jail Free Day' of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

The programme was organized at the initiative of the 'Uttaranchal Chhatra Forum', a student-based organisation established in 2012, comprising students from various educational institutions in Dhaka.

BNP National Standing Committee member Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku has been named as the Chief Advisor of the newly formed committee. 

BNP Media Cell convener Professor Dr. Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel and Media Cell member Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin have been made advisors to the forum.

Atiqur Rahman Rumon, permanent member of the National Press Club and convener of 'Amra BNP Paribar', has been named as the chief patron of the committee.

According to the announcement, Imtiaz Raja Sourav of Dhaka University has been made President of the forum, while Farzana Akhter Rimi of Jagannath University has been named Senior Vice President. 

Other Vice Presidents include Sohan Rahman (Jagannath University), Mesbaul Alam (Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University) and Naeem Imtiaz Limon (Dhaka College).

Mujahidul Haque Jihad of Jagannath University has been made General Secretary.
