DHAKA, Sept 4, 2025 (BSS) - The Criminal Investigation Department (CID)

Uprising from the capital's Mirpur area early today.

The arrested has been identified as Abdul Halim Sheikh, president of Ward No.
15 branch of Dhanmondi Thana Sramik League.

An operational team of the CID's Dhaka Metro South Division conducted a raid
in Mirpur's Section-2 area around 1.15 am today after they confirmed the
involvement of Halim in shooting and dead a 14-year old teenager, Abdullah

last year.

Later, a murder case was filed with Dhanmondi Police Station in this
connection.

The investigation revealed that Halim actively participated in the

Siddique was shot and dead on the spot in the capital's Dhanmondi area.

When the protesters took him to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH)

The investigation and operation of the CID Dhaka Metro South Division are
