BRAHMANBARIA, Sept 4, 2025 (BSS) - Train services resumed on alternate lines
and the affected route has been cleared after one and a half an hour
following an earlier incident where a wheel of the Titas commuter train's
bogie derailed in the Talshahar Railway Station area here today.

The train, which had left Dhaka at around 12:30 pm today, derailed and after
2 pm, the derailed bogie was removed and the remaining bogies were moved with
resuming the train services, Titas train steward Md Zakir Hossain told BSS.

Talshahar Railway Station Master Md Shahidul Islam said, "However, no
casualties were reported. About 500 meters of the railway line were partially
damaged."

On the way to Brahmanbaria, a wheel of the Titas train (M) derailed with a
loud noise while it was passing through Talshahar after Ashuganj Railway
Station, he added.
