DHAKA, Sept 5, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e Islam Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman today said the party dreams of a corruption free and humane Bangladesh and its main goal is to improve life of country's deprived people.

"Jamaat's politics is people-centric. We dream for a Bangladesh which will be corruption free and humane. And if we assume in power with support of masses, our main goal will be improving the life-quality of the deprived people," Dr. Shafiqur said while inaugurating a free health-campaign at the premises of Monipur School and College here in Mirpur.

If Jamaat assumes power, no members of the parliament will take any government plots and use cars without tax or custom fees, he added urging people to stay with Jamaat to build a fear-free Bangladesh.

Regarding the country's health services, he said, "My treatment in the country is a protest for those who fly abroad if affected even by coughing or sneezing."

He, however, noted that Bangladesh's healthcare system yet to reach the desired level.

Jamaat Ameer, on August 2 this year, underwent a bypass surgery at a private hospital in the capital after diagnosed with three blocks in blood vessel.
