Mintu for mental change of kids to bring change in society

FENI, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) – BNP vice chairman and former president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Abdul Awal Mintu today laid emphasis on mental development of the students for bringing a change in the society.

“The parents should understand the psychology of their kids. Bringing psychological change of their kids is a responsibility of their parents for bringing a change in the society,” he said.

The BNP leader said this while addressing as the chief guest a reception and prize distribution ceremony among the successful scholarship winner students. Dainik Fenir Somoy and Weekly Alokito Feni organized the event at Shilpakala Academy here this afternoon.

Around 500 students who successfully passed the examination in 2024 received the prize at the event. 

Mintu said those who have received scholarship once would be accomplished children of the district.

He said once upon a time Feni College was a reputed organization and many scholars have come out from this institution.

Deputy Commissioner of Feni Saiful Islam spoke at the function as the special guest while noted educationist Professor Taybul Haque presided over the event.
