NARSINGDI, Sept 12, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan has said that BNP does not believe in the politics of revenge, conflict and terrorism.

“BNP believes in good governance and accountability,” he said while speaking at a street rally this afternoon at Parulia Mor in Gazaria Union of Palash upazila, on the occasion of BNP’s founding anniversary.

Later, he also joined street rallies at different places in Gazaria Union.

He said that BNP, along with the student community of this country, had ousted the autocratic government. BNP has fought against Awami League for 16 long years, he said, adding that as a result of the united movement, today people have once again become free.

“To consolidate this victory, we must restore the democratic process. Those who run the country must be accountable to the people,” he added.

During the Awami League’s rule, there was neither accountability nor democracy and in the name of development, they looted the country and destroyed it, he said.

Palash Upazila BNP President Abdus Sattar, General Secretary Saiful Haque, Senior Joint General Secretary Bahuddin Bhuiya Milton, Municipal BNP President Alam Molla, Gazaria Union BNP President Amzad Hossain Bhuiya Shamim, along with leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations, among others, were present.
