DHAKA, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Sraboni Sarker Ritu, the only daughter of Bijon Kanti Sarker, member of the BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council, former Secretary, and Chairman of the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Welfare Front.
Sraboni died of a cardiac arrest at Evercare Hospital here at the age of 40 yesterday.
In a condolence message, the BNP secretary general said, "The sudden demise of Sraboni due to cardiac arrest is deeply painful. Only those parents who have endured such loss can truly understand the heartbreak of losing a child."
Fakhrul extended his heartfelt prayers that the grieving parents find the strength to bear this profound sorrow.
He also prayed for eternal salvation of departed soul and conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, well-wishers, and sympathizers.
BNP National Executive Committee Joint Secretary Syed Emran Saleh Prince also expressed shock and sorrow in a separate condolence message at the death of Sraboni.
