DMP files 3541 cases for traffic law violations

DHAKA, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS) - The traffic division of the Dhaka Metropolitan 
Police (DMP) filed 3541 cases against traffic law violators in different 
areas of the capital in the last two days, according to a press release. 

In addition, 595 vehicles were dumped and 315 vehicles were wrecked during 
the operations.

The DMP has vowed to continue the operations to maintain traffic discipline 
in Dhaka Metropolitan areas.
