Golam Parwar calls for unity on July charter to build a new Bangladesh

KHULNA, Sept 13, 2025 (BSS)- Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Mia Golam Parwar has called upon all for unity on July Charter to build a new Bangladesh.

“A possibility of unity among all Islamic and like-minded patriotic parties for forge unity through coordination has been created. So, everyone must unite on the basis of the July Charter,” he said.

Golam Parwar said this while addressing a separate meeting of the party during a day-long public outreach in Dumuria upazila in Khulna.
 
In the new Bangladesh, there will no longer be interest-based economy, bribery, corruption, irregularities, injustice, oppression, enforced disappearances, or killings, he said.
 
“Bangladesh will be a land of equality, unity, justice, and fairness where Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and Christians will all enjoy equal rights,” he said.

Golam Parwar who is also a parliamentary candidate of Khulna-5 constituency, said the previous fascist government unleashed terrible oppression and persecution on the country’s scholars and religious leaders.
 
“They kept thousands of scholars and leaders of Jamaat, Hefazat, and Charmonai in the prison for years and unleashed mental and physical torture. People believe that the government deliberately killed Allama Sayeedi in the name of medical treatment,” he added.

He added that in the upcoming elections, scholars, religious leaders, and patriotic people must unite and vote for the ‘scale’ to end forever the dominance of subservient and hegemonic forces in this land.

The public meetings were held at Khalshi Government Primary School ground and Dumuria Majidia Senior Madrasa ground.

Chaired by Abdul Gani Khan, Amir of Dumuria Union Jamaat-e-Islami, Khulna District Jamaat Amir Mawlana Emran Hossain, Assistant Secretary Munsi Moinul Islam, Professor Mia Golam Quddus, Advocate Abu Yusuf Molla, and District Chhatra Shibir President Yusuf Fakir, among others, spoke on the occasion.
