Tarique Rahman mourns death of scholar Mufti Ahmadullah

DHAKA, Sept 14, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of senior Islamic scholar and Muhaddith Allama Mufti Ahmadullah.

In a condolence message, Tarique said Mufti Ahmadullah, Muhtamim and Shaikhul Hadith of Al-Jamia Al-Islamia Patiya Madrasa in Chattogram, will be remembered for his teachings that guided students to become ideal human beings through the practice of Islamic knowledge, a press release said here.

Tarique also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
