DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) - Police have arrested 27 more crime suspects in separate raids in the capital city's Adabor and Mohammadpur Police Stations areas.
 
They were arrested in previous cases and pending warrants on specific criminal charges, said a press release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). 
 
Police apprehended five of them from different places in Mohammadpur thana areas on Tuesday.
 
The arrested have been identified as Shahiduzzaman Warsi Sujan (46), Osman Gani (24), Abu Bakkar Sajeeb (22), Md. Oli Khan (21) and Anik Ahmed (29).
 
On the other hand, Mohammadpur Thana police arrested 22 others from different places of the thana area on Tuesday.
 
The arrested are: Morsheda Akhter (38), Munna Islam (23), Adnan Hossain Emon (24), Ibrahim (27)  Al Amin (19), Emon (25), Habibur Rahman Habu (34), Rabiul Awal (21), Khorshed Alam (28), Al Amin alias Rubel (27), Sajal (22), Rezwan alias Ishan (16), Sifat alias Musa (19), Shimul (20), Parvez Mia (26), Hridoy (26), Abu Raihan (28), Sagir (52), Abu Bakkar Siddique (42), Shahid Mia (35), Hridoy (18) and 22. Selim (32).
 
Police also seized 170 pieces of Yaba, 170 small packets of ganja and two sharp weapons during the operations.
