Tarique Rahman stands by int'l gold medalist innovator Jihad

CHUADANGA, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) - Acting on the directive of BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, the pro-BNP social organization 'Amra BNP Poribar' today visited internationally acclaimed young inventor Jahid Hasan Jihad to congratulate him on his recent achievement.

The delegation met Jihad at his residence in the Paranpur area around noon, conveying their best wishes and presenting a token of honor. 

They also assured continued support for his future research initiatives.

Atiqur Rahman Ruman, Convener of Amra BNP Poribar, led the delegation.

Chuadanga District BNP President Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, Member Secretary Moksedul Momin Mithun (Shomin), Darshana Municipality BNP Coordinator Sharif Uddin, Darshana Jubo Dal Convener Faruk Hossain and other BNP leaders and activists were present at the meeting.

"The success of young inventor Jahid has brought pride to the entire district. Talented innovators like him show that Bangladesh's future is in capable and creative hands," said Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu.

Jahid Hasan Jihad, a second-year HSC student at Darshana Government College, recently won the Gold Medal at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE) 2025 for his innovation, the 'Hexa-guard Robot,' earning widespread recognition across Bangladesh.

Jahid's mother Nasima Khatun, his sister Sumaya Khatun, and members of his innovation team - Mudassir Ibne Azom, Sopon Ali, Asaduzzaman Sabbir, Mohammad Sabbir Hasan, Md. Motijul Islam Sifat, Mohammad Nasim Hasan Noor, and Mohammad Hasibul Hasan - were present during the meeting with Amra BNP Poribar.
