Probe report in Fazle Karim's crimes against humanity case Nov 12

DHAKA, Oct 12, 2025 (BSS) - The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 today set November 12 for submitting the probe report in a case lodged over crimes against humanity committed in Chattogram during the July-August Mass Uprising against former Chattogram-6 lawmaker ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury.
 
The three-judge panel, led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder, of the ICT-1 passed the order allowing a time plea of the prosecution. Prosecutor Abdullah Al-Noman moved the plea before the tribunal. 
 
A total of four accused have been arrested so far in the case. They are: ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, Azizur Rahman, Tauhidul Islam and Md Feroz.
 
The court on February 16, 2025, sent Chowdhury to jail after showing him arrested in the case.
