DHAKA, Oct 12, 2025 (BSS) - Police, in a special operation, have arrested 26 
individuals involved in various criminal activities from crime-prone areas 
under Kamragirchar Police Station in the capital.

The operation was conducted on Saturday by a team from Kamragirchar Police 
Station of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Deputy Police Commissioner 
(Media and Public Relations Division) Muhammad Talebur Rahman said here 
today.

The arrestees are-- Md Falah, 28, Parvez, 25, Shakil, 20, Md Ali, 23, Saddam, 
47, Abdul Ali, 38, Ratul, 20, Shahabuddin, 55, Shawon, 20, Suman, 30, Ridwan, 
24, Riday, 25, Shahin, 24, Rabiul, 26, Saddam, 30, Mehedi Hasan, 21, Shawon, 
19, Limon, 19, Shakib Mondal, 19, Sagar, 30, Sagar, 19, Nantu, 22, Jalil 
Sheikh, 62, Md Nazrul Islam Bachchu, 36, Shahadat, 22, and Md Dulal, 28, he 
said.

The DMP official added that the group includes regular case accused, 
individuals wanted on warrants, and other criminals involved in diverse 
offenses. 

The arrestees have been produced before the court for legal proceedings.
