NCP delegation holds meeting with Nordic countries envoys

DHAKA, Oct 15, 2025 (BSS) – A delegation of National Citizen Party (NCP) today held a meeting with the ambassadors of Denmark, Norway and Sweden stationed in Bangladesh.

The meeting took place over a breakfast invitation at the residence of Norwegian Ambassador to Bangladesh Hakon Arald Gulbrandsen, attended by Swedish Ambassador Nicolas Weeks and Danish Ambassador Christian Brix Moller.

NCP delegation members, who joined the meeting, included Joint Convener and Head of International Cell Sultan Mohammad Zakaria, Joint Member Secretary and Deputy Head of International Cell Alauddin Mohammad, and Joint Chief Coordinator and in-charge of Europe Desk Navid Nawroz Shah.

The discussion covered various contemporary political issues including the progress of consensus regarding reforms and the July Charter, party sources said. 

They also discussed the NCP’s preparations for the upcoming national election and the possibilities of holding a free and fair poll. 

Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing diplomatic and trade ties between Bangladesh and the Scandinavian countries, sources added.
