DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS)- BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has taken responsibility for the medical treatment of the young girl Humayra Jahan Humasha.

A report titled 'What Does the Love of a Child Mean to This Father - An Advertisement for Treatment by Selling a Kidney' was published in various media outlets. This report came to the attention of BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.  Subsequently, he instructed Amra BNP Poribar Convener Atikur Rahman Rumon to contact Humayra Jahan Humasha's family.

Following this, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Chief Adviser of Amra BNP Poribar   Ruhul Kabir Rizvi  went to meet with Humayra Jahan Humasha's family in the Kamrangir Char area in the city today. 

Rizvi handed over the financial assistance for the treatment of the young child Humasha's father Alam Hossain and mother  Bonna Akter on behalf of Tarique Rahman.

He also conveyed a message of sympathy from BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to the distressed family.
