DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will visit Barisal tomorrow to participate in view-exchange meetings centering the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections.
CEC’s personal secretary Mohammad Asraful Alam informed this to BSS.
He said that CEC AMM Nasir Uddin will participate in a meeting on the 13th National Parliament Election with Barisal Regional Election Officer, Additional Regional Election Officer, Senior District or District Election Officers, Additional District Election Officers and Upazila or Thana Election Officers at the conference room of the Regional Election Officer of Barisal at 10am.
The CEC will also participate as the chief guest in a meeting with Barisal Divisional Commissioner, Barisal Range DIG, Barisal Metropolitan Police Commissioner, GOC of 7 Infantry Division, Barisal Cantonment representative, Sector Commander of Khulna Sector of BGB, Deputy Director General of Ansar and VDP, Commander of RAB-8, Bangladesh Coast Guard, Bhola; Colonel GS, DGFI, Barisal; Additional Director, NSI, Regional Election Officer of Barisal region, all Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of Barisal Division and Senior District Election Officer on Saturday at 3 pm.
He will depart from Barisal Airport for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:30 am on Sunday (October 19).
